~My Review~ 

A fantastic second book in the Watersong series!

Lullaby didn’t miss a beat, picking up right where Wake left off.  With Gemma gone, Harper, Alex, and Daniel have joined together, determined to find her, and bring her home.  

Gemma hates being a siren and fights her new nature every step of the way.  But fighting it makes her very sick, and she soon realizes that if she doesn’t “eat” she’ll end up dead. Will Gemma come to terms with her new life before it’s too late?  You’ll have to readLullaby to find out.

Hocking never fails to amaze me with her books.  She always paints a vivid picture and creates a unique world, and you just can’t help but become absorbed in the story.

Like the first book, this one was a slow-ish read, and not action packed, but I still loved it.  Even if it wasn’t action packed, it was an emotional roller-coaster.  I loved every single one of the character Hocking created in the Watersong series.

In the end, this was a fun read and I enjoyed every second of it.  There is no doubt that I will be continuing on with this series to see how life plays out for Gemma and her friends.  I would definitely recommend this series to every YA fan out there.
