Summary from Goodreads:
Keylee isn’t your typical bounty hunter. She’s young, petite, and has a Doberman pinscher as her personal bodyguard. Just as Keylee returns to town from a month long assignment, she’s asked to protect a man named Hunter, who has jumped bond and is on the run from other bounty hunters and the police. The mere fact that she knows who Hunter is and why the police are after him, places her life at risk. Now, Keylee has a limited time to save Hunter and herself.

My Review:
Hot and steamy … yep, this book was definitely that. Originally I had rated Bounty for Hunter a 3 star on Goodreads, but it’s been a few days since I finished it, and the story and characters are still stuck in my head.  I figuredthat if I’m still thinking about it now, than it deserves a 4 star.

Keylee is an awesome female lead.  She is strong, independent, assertive, and a heck of a lot of fun to follow.  From the first page I felt like I knew exactly who she was and her character only grew from there.

Bounty for Hunter is not your average “Bounty Hunting” story.  Instead of bringing Hunter in, Keylee has been hired to protect him.  After accepting the job, Keylee sets out to find Hunter.  Her mission: to bring Hunter back alive to her brothers and Alek for protection.

The descriptions are perfect in this novella.  In no way are they flowery or drawn out.  Williams gets right to the point and has you seeing every scene as if you were right there, watching on the sidelines. The action, and almost instant sexual attraction between Keylee and Hunter, kept this story moving along at a fantastic pace.

So why did I originally rate it a 3 star?  Well … mostly, it was the spelling/grammar.  There were quite a few mistakes in this short novella and I found it very distracting.  Also, there was one scene near the end, right when everything was really heating up, that seemed so out of place, and it basically stalled the story for me.

But even with the minor issues I had, this is one series that I will be following for sure.  The secondary characters were not overly developed, but I was given enough to want to know more about them.

If you have a quiet afternoon and you’re looking for an adult romance with lots of action and some steamy scenes, then check this one out.  You won’t be disappointed.
